At The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, Executive Teppanyaki Chef Yuki Oe introduces a new Teppanyaki Afternoon Tea inspired by his childhood memories. The experience begins with a course reminiscent of the handmade bento his grandmother prepared for family journeys from Kochi to Tokyo

—a dish that transcends an appetizer to serve as a prologue to the entire afternoon tea.

Each creation reflects the landscapes and flavors encountered along those travels, interwoven with personal memories of family and place. The Teppanyaki Afternoon Tea unfolds as a modern interpretation of tea kaiseki, pairing meticulously selected premium teas with teppanyaki artistry, where both savory and sweet courses are prepared before your eyes.
